We are incredibly proud of the strong local links to the heroic feats of our RAF pilots during the Second World War. The George was a watering hole for many of those based at nearby RAF Headcorn – some even signing the beams of the bar! To celebrate that history the walls of the bar and restaurant feature prints of the beautiful spitfires they flew over this corner of England.
